Feb, 22nd, 6:30-8:30PM - COCKTAILS & COMEDY (National Margarita Day)
What is better than cocktails and laughter? Join us for National Margarita Day!
Class Notes: Nobody knows who invented the margarita. It’s a mystery cocktail. But it’s very likely that it involves a beautiful woman. According to cocktail historian David Wondrich, the best guess is that the margarita, as we know and love it, evolved from a cocktail known as the “daisy.” This, a mix of alcohol, citrus juice, and grenadine served over shaved ice, was popular during the 1930s and 40s. Nevertheless, we will continue to create (and debate) them on this journey as we dive into the past and present of one of the most popular cocktails of all time while celebrating NATIONAL MARGARITA DAY (and week).
